Copper Mountain is offering season passes for the 2007-2008 ski season for $279 dollars..  You may purchase the passes without being present, however, you must submit a photo of yourself so that they can print your pass.  For a few more dollars and you can ski Winter Park and Mary Jane as well.  Winter Park and Mary Jane are a hour drive from Copper Mountain. The trek is well worth it. Colorado's Fraser Valley is stunning.
Copper Mountain offers a 4 pack for $84. These pasess ARE transferable.  That said, said passes only allow one person to use the pass per day.  So, if you're thinking of taking a family of four people to the mountain, you will not be able to do it with this pass.  However, new this year, is a "Transfour Pack" which allows you to use your 4 lift tickets all at once.  This might be a better option for you and your family.  The passes at Copper Mountain are $149.  They do have a few restrictions for these passes so make sure you check the fine print!
Buy an Entertainment Book for the Denver area.  These books are packed with ski coupons.  The lift coupons are for slightly discounted tickets ($5 - $10 off ticket window prices).  Some of the best coupons are for dining out, shopping, and even ski schools!
You can also buy discounted tickets on the front page in and around Denver.  Just go into any Safeway or King Soopers grocery store and/or ski and snow board rental shop to get deals on discounted lift tickets for most local ski areas.
One more thing!  Don't forget to check eBAY.  Many times people will buy season passes or a package and will not be able to use it.  Sometimes it is s a fourpack or sometimes its someone who has an inside track to the resort and is trying to make a little money on the side.  Either way, make sure you check the lift tickets carefully and know exactly what your buying.
You can get all these passes at: www.passwagon.com
